Police Rescued A Lo.st And Pa.ni.cked German Shepherd Dog On The Highway!

Well done, thank you for rescuing this dog and getting him back to his owner!

Anyone who gets lo.st will pa.nic, especially if they get lo.st on a busy highway like this!

This was the case for Lexi, a German shepherd who got lo.st on a busy stretch of Interstate 495 in Massachusetts. She was ter.rif.ied and perplexed, not knowing how to avoid the speeding cars.

When state police realized Lexi was in dan.ger, they attempted to coax her out of the way, but the animal erred and plowed into oncoming traffic.

The cops worked extremely hard out of concern for the dog’s safety!

They called in not one, but three agencies: the Massachusetts State Police, Methuen Police, and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.

First, all lanes are closed. Then it all came down to Malachy Higgins, a state trooper, and his granola bar. Lexi, of course, loves it; she chases that granola bar so hard that she leaps right into the cruiser, kno.cking over the officer’s coffee and even activating the police [sir.en].

Fortunately, the hyperactive dog was unharmed, and she was quickly reunited with her grateful owner in Methuen.

The cops are also overjoyed by this wonderful reunion because they, too, own dogs and understand how he.artbre.aking it is to lo.se a pet!

Hopefully, this lovely dog will not go mis.sing again. She is so fortunate to meet such nice cops!

So glad the officers rescued him from the traffic.
Thank you, Officers, for stopping traffic and getting Lexi back to her family. 💙👮‍♂️🚔

God Bless all who were involved in saving the dog. 🙏🙏🙏
