Recently, two former circus elephants named Shirley and Jenny reunited after 22 years apart, and the footage left everyone in tears. While animals and humans may not look the same, it’s difficult to deny the incredible similarities they share.

Animals, much like humans, can experience joy and so.rrow, and the way the two elephants entwine with each other is similar to two humans who haven’t seen each other in a long time and no one can stop them from being together.

They wrap their trunks around each other in a loving embrace!

The incredible moment Shirley and Jenny recognize each other for the first time after over two decades apart was recently captured at the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee.
The reunion is not only emotional, but it also serves as a serious reminder that these animals, like us, have the ability to feel love.

The keepers are just as moved as the elephants as they watch them interact for the first time in years; they quickly captured this moment to share with everyone. They take in the beautiful moment as the elephants suddenly recognize each other through evictions, their eyes wide with anticipation.
