ATLANTA — A Georgia woman celebrated a milestone birthday as she turned 104 years old.

Frances Thrasher celebrated her 104th birthday at the A.G. Rhodes Atlanta Center on Sunday, April 6.

Thrasher was born in Walhalla, South Carolina, but was raised in Atlanta.

She is the oldest member of Wheat Street Baptist Church, where she previously sang in the choir. She loves music, arts and crafts, and horticultural therapy, which involves gardening.
