This adorable puppy [lo.st] his mother in a natural [di.saster]. He became weak, alone in the [ru.ins] of the town. He hid in a construction area after the great [lo.ss].

He’s still too small, and his fur is very dirty but he doesn’t seem to have been in.ju.red. Whenever he saw people, he barked ag.gre.ssively and kept hiding.

It was difficult for the rescue team to make contact with him. He tries to bite anyone who comes close. He cr.ies constantly and walks around the construction area to find his mother. When the rescue team found him, he was sitting under the rubble alone.

We learned that the children did not treat him well after he [lo.st] his mother’s protection. That’s what makes him so [ag.gres.sive] toward humans. He may have been fasting since the day of the disaster. He needs access to food, and clean water, or he will [d.i.e].

The rescue team sat for hours next to him so he could get used to their presence. Then they pet him to let him know he is being comforted. At first, the puppy barked constantly and tried to bite the rescuer’s hand. It took a long time for the rescuer to reach him.

Though afraid of humans, he is an adorable puppy and needs to be loved. He gradually accepted being petted and stopped barking. The rescuers took him to a clean place and gave him clean water to drink. His tail wagging signals a positive acceptance.

Puppies are taken to a new shelter. He immediately went to find a dark corner to hide. We give him his first lunch. After he was full, he seemed excited as he rummaged around the shelter and played with the balls.

He was then showered and photographed for adoption information. He is named Jake. Soon a family adopted Jake. When they learned Jake’s story, they wished they could give him a happy life for the rest of his life.

Jake is currently living in his sweet new home. He’s back to being a happy, energetic, and loving puppy. The new home compensated him for the great [lo.ss] he had gone through. This is a nice ending.
