Elon Musk has once again set the stage for a revolution, this time in the marine industry, with the unveiling of the Tesla Model Yacht, a groundbreaking concept poised to redefine luxury boating. This innovative vessel, designed by Tesla’s Duv Prasad, promises to be fully self-sustaining, powered by solar and hydroelectric energy. Unlike any luxury yacht currently available, the Model Yacht will generate its own energy, allowing it to operate without reliance on external charging stations.
With dimensions measuring 40 meters long and 8 meters wide, the yacht is categorized near the super yacht class and features a striking, futuristic design that echoes Tesla’s automotive aesthetics. The upper deck will be partially covered, allowing natural light while providing protection from the elements, and the interior will boast sleek, minimalist furnishings along with modular seating and entertainment spaces.
