Daya, a pregnant pit bull, who was found by Animal Control wandering the streets in York South Carolina.

Daya was directly taken Halfway There Rescue to give birth at a home. But what happened was not that, as the pups were not delivered as the di.ed in ut.ero! And Daya underwent an emer.gency due to [infe.ction comp.lic.ations].

Daya was ‘com.ple.tely depr.es.sed’ after lo.sing her babies. But when she met an orphaned pup called Raisin, who was found wandering on a road really si.ck and with an in.ju.red eye.
That’s when the shelter put the orphaned pup and gr.ieving mother together.

Raisin directly felt protected as Daya, who was also really happy, showed her love like as her own. What a happy ending for the both dog!

She is beautiful how contented and happy she looks! What a wonderful momma!

I’m so happy mama dog has a baby to love. Animals have emotions…we don’t yet know how similar they are to humans…but we can respect and love and do our best to fulfill their needs.♡
