Rubble, was a beautiful boy as a kitten and a senior cat! May he rest in peace!
Rubble, the stunning Maine Coon, was given to his owner, Michele Heritage, as a 20th birthday gift, and has been with her ever since.
Michele said: I was lonely living on my own, so got him in as a kitten. It was in May 1988.
Michele, 52, has paid tribute to her beloved fur-baby, who became the oldest known cat in the world after reaching his 31st birthday.
The elderly cat was healthy, with no known health problems. The gentle cat pas.sed away from old age after becoming very fr.ail on the 3rd of July, 2020.
Michele said: The moggy sa.dly di.ed before turning 32. She said her beloved cat [went acro.ss the road], and [ne.ver came back].
Rubble managed to beat the oldest living cat record, previously held by a Siamese Texas named Scooter, who was 30-years-old before he passed away in 2016.
The oldest known cat of all time is Creme Puff, who lived until 38-years-old and 3 days.
So very sa.d to hear this! We certainly understand how much it must hurt, Sorry for ur lo.ss, he was a beautiful boy ♡♡♡
